2024 Focus and Strategy

Dear Team and Valued Stakeholders,

As we approach the end of the year, I want to share with you our focus and strategic shift for 2024. It has been a year of reflection, evaluation, and transformation, and I’m excited to unveil our new direction.

In the past, our aim was to disrupt the traditional divisions between business, marketing, and sales. We challenged standard operating procedures, setting WCKD Marketing apart as a unique entity. This approach was effective for smaller businesses with flexible frameworks, but we’ve recognized that larger corporations operate within traditional structures that demand conformity. These silos persist because they provide control and reduce turnover by assigning specific roles and limited responsibilities. While our approach empowered highly educated individuals, it often led them to pursue independent initiatives.

In 2024, our strategy is evolving. We are shifting our focus toward aligning our processes and workflows more closely with the conventional divisions of business, marketing, and sales. What sets us apart now is our emphasis on building bridges between these divisions rather than tearing down walls. We’re streamlining our operations by breaking everything into smaller projects, aiming for quicker victories and smaller commitments that will accumulate into substantial year-over-year successes.

Over the past couple of years, we scaled back significantly. Although it felt unproductive and came with certain costs, it provided us with a valuable opportunity to reevaluate our position and trajectory. While our work remained profitable, it wasn’t scaling at the pace needed to reach our goals. It’s time to shake things up and try a fresh approach to reach our destination more rapidly, and it all begins with improved communication.

As we move into 2024, I want to express my gratitude to our dedicated team and supportive stakeholders for their continued commitment. Together, we are embarking on a new journey that promises growth, innovation, and success.
